Hi can anybody help me I need it. I upgrade from Win 3.11 to Win 95 without
any problems  about 12 months ago. But recently I have been getting
problems with numerous programs. Its no doubt Win 95 problem, I keep
getting a page fault problem, I keep having to reboot and sometimes it
works. It appears to be programs crashing and not fitting on the screen
Its mainly MS office programs, it could be virus and possibly my registry

I have been told I will have to re format my hard disk and reload, but
thats a massive job. Is there no chance of reloading the correct files or
rebuilding my registry. please find a file I have made of when faults have

Watch Question

have you tried to reinstall the applications with the problems?
have you tried to reinstall 95? (not format drive).

I would do that first to see if it makes any difference. you may have files that are corrupted and the reinstalls should replace them.

also, before you do that, run scandisk on your drives using the thorough option. you may have bad sectore on your drive which is causing problems.

if none of this works you may have to reinstall on a freshly formatted drive.

do you still have win31 installed? that may also be causing some problems.
