claris object data
I have a claris CAD 2v3 object data file originally created through SAVEAS/OBJECT DATA. The original CAD file is unavailable. I want to reconstitute as much as I can from the data file. For purposes of this question assume the data is just a set of points with their color attributes. Apparently this can not be done within claris. I am open to suggestions about alternative software as long as it is not one of the many hundreds of dollars packages which I will not use for anything else.

Maclinkplus is a translation program from dataviz, it will translate the file into a readble format. If you run norton utilities it should repair whatever damage has occured to the file. If this does'nt work Reinstall the claris application.

I guess I haven't made myself clear.there is nothing wrong with the data file, it is readable as text. It is just that it does not have any information on it except x,y coordinates of points and their color. If there ever was any other info on it there is no longer.
