Plus! and Hijaak95

1) After installing Plus! why can't I see Plus! in the Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs? I think it ought to be there?
2) After running RegClean my Hijaak95 cannot show any graphics in a windows anymore? only a small window which is minimized at once, so I can see nothing att all of the graphics. Why? Come on experts!!!

1.. did you install plus through add new software or from the run      command?

2..Hijack...is it set to thumbnail the pictures?

1. I installed the software wit the run command. I had to manually myself to remove a previous version, as I could not remove it, neither with help of the diskettes (running install again and selecting remove all - response (strange) saying a file was missing - and that was it). Then I deleted myself the old Plus! catalog, then I could reinstall it.
2. The red bullet in the process line is running fine after running regclean, it is the main program - Hijaak95 - which behaves strangely after running regclean. When I open a graphics file after running regclean with Hijaak95 itself, it immidiately go down in size, I can do nothing to see the picture, I have tried to do something with the View menu, but nothing can solve it, except reinstalling the software.
1. Plus! does not put an entry in the Control Panel Add/Remove programs listing (nice MS - do as I say, not as I do!).  Instead, you need to run SETUP.EXE from the C:\PROGRAM FILES\PLUS!\SETUP directory.
2. Re install Hijaak95.

1) I think it is not true, that Plus! does not put an entry in Add/Remove Programs.
2) It is a really poor answer about Hijaak95, as it was what I myself suggested. There must be an explanation, I have looked about Hijaak95 at Quaterdeck, but there is no answer to find there.
1. Plus does NOT put an entry in Add/Remove programs - THIS IS A FACT - take it or leave it - I don't care but I suspect I have more experience with this than most.
2. If you really insist, REGCLEAN keeps a copy of what it has removed in a file called UNDO.REG in the directory where
REGCLEAN .EXE is run from.  I assumed that you probably have run REGCLEAN since this episode, and didn't save the UNDO.REG, which means it's lost.  If you haven't, great. If you have, tough luck.
3. If you are not going to take the information given to you from people that obviously have more experience than you, don't waste our time - your response is infuriating - especially when you are given the one and only correct answer.

jerryd, I'll have to examine it more closely. Ofcourse if you are right, then you get the points. I have to remind you of, that I am not a novice in this area; therefore I have to be sure, as I think, I have seen Plus! there before. Dont waste your good humor, I will certainly be back and value your answer later on. As regarding the question about Hijaak, I had hoped some expert could tell why this is happening; I already knew how to reestablish the program, but it is a little annoying to do it everytime I have run Regclean. Thank you.
I really don't remember seeing Plus! in control panel (I am today on NT). There is Theme! in Control Panels after installing Plus!, and a Plus! property page inside Display Properties and that's all. No?

jerryd and Irene, Regarding my question #1: it was surely a poor answer go get from experts; I have discovered that Control Panel/Add/Remove programs says: Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95. So jerryd, I think you have learned something now?!
Still my question #2 is open for 100 points, so if there is an expert who can tell why Hijaak95 behaves eratically after running Regclean, there is points to gain!
Try scan disk, its's either a crossed file or a registry entry has been lost. Scan disk will take care of the first possibility

Also check the properties for Hijack itself, and for the display, it sounds like something is checked for run minimzed, or thumbnailed

If all else fails, you may have to delete Hijack and reload it
