Mouse setting won't hold

When I set the (snap pointer to default button) on the activity tab of control panel>mouse it works for a while then stops working and I have to restart to get it back. I have Intellipoint 1.10

the problem may be the driver you are using. intellipoint drivers have been updated several times in the last year.
try microsoft web to see if newer version is there.

if not you can use the 95 drivers for microsoft serial mouse. they work fine.
