I've been watching tcpman and etherman programs
on a Sparc, and was wondering if there's such a free
tool for Linux.
I know there's one called tcpview, but I'm having
serious problems in the compilation.

Is there a gui version of tcpdump?

Any comments?

Best regards,

I don't know a program for X, but perhaps Sniffit might help you. It has a textmode interactive inteface.
You can get it from:
