WinPopUp Alternative

I am looking for client software for Win95 and Macintosh that will allow me to send broadcast messages from the NT 3.5.1 server, like wall/Unix or send/Novell.  WinPopUp might work with the Intel clients if I can stop it from popping up each time a print job is finished.  Editing the system.ini file at the server did not work. Do you know of any such packages?

Here's somthing I only found myself recently, for
turning off print notification on NT3.51.

Open the Registry Editor by running regedt32, traverse
the path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE on Local

Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers". With the Providers key highlighted,
select Edit - Add Value from the menu bar. The Value Name should be NetPopup.
The Data Type should be REG_DWORD. And the Data should be 0 with hex selected.

After making the change in the registry, restart the spooler service or reboot the server.
