3c900xl support

I purchased a new 3com 3c900xl pci ethernet card, and it is not supported in the "make config" options of the kernel update (on version 2.0.23 I believe).  What can I do?

Until now, 3com 3c900xl are not precompiled in Linux Kernels. Donald Becker has written their appropriate driver. So have a look at http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/vortex.html
