Saving the password in Win95 Dialer

I keep trying to save the password in the Windows 95 dialer,
but when I exit the dialer and re-enter I have to re-type in my password again. I type in the password and place a check mark in the save password box but it won't save the password. Is there somewhere else to check mark to save the password.

Thank you,
terryw

Go to Control Panel\Network.

Make sure you have Client For Microsoft Networks installed.

If you dont have this installed then it wont save the password.
