Append text to CEditView/CEdit MFC 2.5

I can append text to a CEditView member (using SetSel() ReplaceSel()) but how do I append a newline character(s) first so that each new text message appears on its own line?

Insert the text "\r\n" before the text you want, e.g.

Set Sel(1,5);
ReplaceSel("\r\nNewText");
