If I download the report of one famous company(like Forbes, Nua--a market survey company) and translate it for publishing, will this be illegal?
I am an editor of an IT magazine, found the Internet is the great souce of information,but as to copyright...

Unless any information is specifically stated as being free or in the public domain you should assume that it is under copyright.  I t is a good practice that when reproducing somebody else's work to get permission from them.

I would think that a large company would most certainly copyright a survey they have carried out.  Check with the company, they are the only people who can answer your question because it is entirely up to them.
