Clarsworks 4.0 saves to either Clarisworks or PIC. Is there a program (freeware/shareware) OR a patch for Clarisworks that converts these files directly to FAX (needed for VSI*FAX program for SCO Unix). We can't use Hijaack since our files are over 100 MB is size at times. These files are text based only. No graphics. Please help!

I went to http://www.shareware.com/ and searched for fax in the Macintosh section. It looks like a shareware program called email-fax-120 will convert files to fax format to be send via email. It looks like email-fax is a 'printer' that allows you to print from an application into a Fax format file with which you can then do what you like. There are also several others that might help like Value-Fax and communigate.

The program is shareware so you can try before you buy-  if you like it, buy it!

Along the same lines a program called myrimidion allows you to 'print' into HTML (web page) files.  Pretty cool for converting legacy documentation into HTML.
