Sendmail - Forwarding

I wish to provide mail forwarding services.

Both to same domains, and to other emails.

One way is to define aliases:
Make a file /etc/aliases . It should contain lines of the
following form:
user:  address

Any mail sent to user@your.domain will be transferred to address. Address can be a local or internet address.

Every time you change this file, you have to run newaliases .

For more advanced setups, read the Linux-HOWTO's (IP-Masquerading, ...)

Or buy the sendmail book (Published by O'Reilly and Associates.)
