please would you be so kind to give me (at least) 10 (golden) rules for setting up a commercial platform/plaza, technical as well as commercial?

Well on the technical part you if you were sending around Credit Card numbers you would want encryption which meens as it's being sent no one can read the informstion becuase it ciphered into a bunch of junk and you would have an encryption decrypter so you could read it. This helps commercial as well as technically becuase it makes the user feel safe when ordering products. An other thing is that you need to have a domain name which meens instead of the address of the site being (and this is just an example) http://www.netcom.com/~bob/mall/info.html which is hard to memorize it would be a lot easier to remember http://www.mysite.com or something like that. Also you have to be orginized people have to be able to find what they need when they want it. And maybe there not shure of what they want. You shoulf have a search function which would search all over the website for whatever there looking for.
