Quake+Proxy

How can I play quake through a proxy???  I have WinGate 2.0 and i set up a TCP mapping to the server i want to play on.  But  I keep getiing no response.

You can't play quake through a normal proxy.  Go download the Quake proxy server (the software that runs on the proxy server).
