I've already tried with several programs and also by formating and reinstalling my system programs. The java file is in folder: system/preferences/netscape/java, is it the wright place??

Have you tried to reinstall your Netscape from another package? Maybe your installation disks are damaged. Or maybe You should get N 3.01, if this is only a bug.
