I started using netscape communicator.  I want to transfer in some of my existing Netscape 3.0 mailfolders.  Do I just copy the mailfolders with the associated .snm file into the correct mail subdirectory?  I am not sure what the .snm file is and what it does and would like a reference is possible.

Yes. Just copy mailfolder files and its .snm file, then it will be done. Next time, new folder will appear in your mail window. I don't know exactly about .snm file but I guess that is index file of folder file. Maybe it is right.
