Web to database

I'm trying to find/build an easy web to database solution.

What I have in mind is a form, which is filled and then the information is saved to somekind of database.

There is a product called Webmania which will allow you to build forms and scripts. It builds MS Access compatible databases, but you don't need MS Access, so we assume that they included the run-time module that MS make available to developers for distribution of specific applications.  The one database will deal with several different forms.

Like any web product it has both adherents and detractors. I have looked at it but do not personally use it. It may suit you.

There are diffrent ways out there to accomplish this task.

 1) ASP(active server pages!) - www.microsoft.com/IIS - asp's allow you to dynamically query from most databases.

 2) Idc, Htx - www.microsoft.com , idc and htx's allow access to Ms access databases. there is an add-in for creation of these files in the microsoft site(named ISS addin for Ms access), which makes the coding easier if one doesn't know SQL.

 3) cold fusion
