Attempting to get a Global Village Teleport Platinum and MacPPP to work on a friends Performa 575. It will dial and <br />
connect (and send data) but at end when mouse is clicked anywhere the computer freezes. Using System 7.1P. 24 Megs RAM. Even took off the GV extension just in case it was conflicting. Still freezes when click in MacPPP OpenPPP control panel after connection is established. Are MacPPP and modem incompatable? Some info I saw on web hint at this. Looking for more details. Will I have to go to FreePPP? Is problem possibly with System 7.1P and need to go to 7.5 or later?
