I am searching for a component that enables me to transfer files between
two computers. I have been searching the net for some time now and all I
can find is the Turbo Power trial version. I can´t afford to buy this and
it wouldn´t be the challange i want. So if anyone have the ability to set
me up with how to proceed, at least tell me the basics about how you are
supposed to make sender/receiver aware of incoming etc...
I know what the protocol itself looks like.

CHECK OUT www.delphi32.com and here go in component area.
you'll find communication stuff (lots !!!) and, certanly, modem transfer
stuff.

Wait, don't go away !
Also check out Delphi Super Page at a aprop. site to you! Here make a search and you'll get lots of VCL (freeware, shareware,pd stuff). Also nice
communication stuff.
