I'm having problems getting my PowerMac 6100 to use the serial ports. &nbsp;Whenever I try to use one (eg printing to the Printer port) I get a message saying that the port is already in use. &nbsp;I've tried using CommCloser which didn't help. &nbsp;Is this a hardware problem or is there anything I can do about it?

All of Apple's hardware is produced solely by Apple Inc., who determines internal systems, designs, and prices. Apple buys certain components wholesale from third-party manufacturers.
