I would like to know how to have my Tab component not only on the top of my page, but also down the sides.  I don't wish to purchase any third party source code.  I would like to the source code that will allow me to do this.

You can't with the TPageControl or TTabbedNotebook components.

You can reject this if you want, but there is no way to do
this with the components that come with Delphi.

You will have to go to the Delphi Super Page (or other
Delphi component repository) and look for a component that
does as you wish.

If you were worried about cost, Delphi Super Page has many
many fine FREEWARE components available and many that come
with source code too.
