StyleWriter1 and 7.5.5

My friend leo had me update his system to 7.5.5...then word 6.01 was all screwed up....so i talked him into trashing it and going with clairisworks...it almost does the same thing..the right margins are all screwed up..some lines go beyond...others are missing words...
this happens on the print out...he has a performa ppc 6116 with 24mg ram. His stylewriter is the first one and i think it used software7.2...
eudora only prints the first half of the page...related???

make sure you have stylwriter 1200 selected in the chooser
and check the Claris fonts folder for corrupted fonts, Claris
and most other word processing programs behave very strangely if
a font is corrupted.
Also make sure you have gone through your page set ups in the
File menu; although this sounds like a deeper problem .
Do all of the other things 1. reinstall Claris (making sure with
Find File that you have got ALL of the old stuff off. 2. install
with Extensions off. 3. Run Disk First Aid. 4. Run Norton Disk
Doctor. You MUST use the latest versions of Disk first aid and
Norton to effectively check that your hard drive is in good
condition.
Lastly did you update the disk driver BEFORE you installed the
system update. It should be V7.5.3 to check the version click on
your HD icon on the desktop and then do a "getinfo' in the file
menu.
