getfirst getnext in Linux

In DOS you have the getfirst and getnext fucntions when you want to itterate through the files in a directory.
But what about Linux g++ ?
I dont think I have seen the getfirst and getnext functions,
what to use instead ?

Check your manual pages for opendir(3) and readdir(3)
