I deleted my whole tips section at:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Tips]
Never seen another one.

Hi Smeebud

Your solution isnt working. I have try to do something more like this, but it still dont work.

[Install]
UpdateInis=NoOnline.remove
DelReg=NoOnlineReg

[NoOnlineReg]
HKCU,Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\tips\
HKCU,Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\tips
HKLM,Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\tips\
HKLM,Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\tips
HKU,.Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\tips\
HKU,.Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\tips

[NoOnline.remove]
setup.ini,group4,,"Onlineregistrering", "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\regwiz.exe /i software\microsoft\windows\currentversion"
setup.ini,group4,,"Onlineregistrering", "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\regwiz.exe /i software\microsoft\windows\currentversion"=*

What software are you trying to install??
Is it trying to register automatically and you don't want it to??

Hi Smeebud

I dont want to install software, all of that works fine. I just want to get rid of first and second welcome/tips screen/window, after installing a serverbased win95 by msbatch.inf file. You know the first is onlineregistration and the second is the one with tips where you can put a mark on it, so you dont see any tips anymore.
I have no problem getting rid of the second screen/window.

Well jlu,
I know of three places to do that.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\OptionalComponents\msonline]
Rename "INF"="applets.inf" to "INF"="applets.jlu". If you need it for setup, reverse the rename.
------------------------------------
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\OptionalComponents\msonline]
"INF"="applets.inf"
"Section"="msonline"
"Installed"="1"
Rename "INF=applets.inf" to INF=applet.jlu
---------------------------------------------------------------
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Tips]
Get rid of this section complete, opr at your whim.

Would you mind attaching that "msbatch.inf" to e-mail so I can look at it??
Lemme know hows it goes.
