Clarisworks 4.04vN

When I want to write a databasefile from Clarisworks 4.04vN (dutch) in ASCII or DBF format to harddisk or disk I receive a message that the ASCII or DBF file was not fond. (they are in the CLARISMAP in the Systemmap).

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Ruco you dont say which system you are using so try these things.
delete the Clarisworks Preferences from your preferences folder
Check that you have the latest version of the DataViz translators
on your disc (intheSystem Folder) Ithink the latest is 11.2 or
it may be even 12xx now. Make sure you have not got a corrupted
font in your fonts folder Claris really does not work well with
a bad font. There is also another update online for Claris 4.05
on FTP its apbout 3.5 Meg.
good luck, hope this helps you.
