IE 3.0 Java?

When I access the skytel web page <www.skytel.com> with Netscape 2.02, there is a white banner at the top of an otherwise black page, where a message streams continuously across the page. In Internet Explorer 3.0, the white box is there, but no words move across it. I have tried clicking on the Java button in the IE preferences, but this makes no difference. Thanks

I have no experiences with IE on the Mac, but I use IE here at my workplace on WinNT 4.0 and the java applet in this page above works fine. Maybe the java implementation of Netscape and IE are different on the Mac. Did you try your page with Netscape 3.01?? What happens there??

Sorry, but I have no real answer to your problem, re

I tried some days ago IE, and trash it immediatly after viewing my HomePage, it does'nt seem to implement Java, or JavaScript, but I don't like Microsoft, and I trash it instead of searching a solution... I can tell you that Java is not checked by default in the preferences, you can see if it is...

You cannot see the scrolling text on that page with IE3.0 (or less), because that page is using Javascript (not java, they're quite different), that's not still implemented in the Mac version on IE.
To execute a javascript program use Netscape.
