On my Performa 6320, I can't use MT-NewsWatcher's Speech Recognition feature. The cause is FreePPP 2.5-V2 squatts the audio input. If I try to launch Speech Recognition, I've got a -227 error. What should I do to evict it ?

sound input device is busy (-227)...how helpful.

I'd try OT1.1.2 and OT/PPP 1.something or other...both are available free at Apple's site:

http://www.apple.com/

Also try:

Look for any system updates or fixes specific to the 6320 -- I seem to recall seeing some.

I'd have liked to understand WHY.Does it come from freePPP or the modem ? In addition, last time I tried to install OT/PPP, it was a real fiasco that costed me 4 hours'reinstalling the whole system.
