Registration code for "Ports of Call"

My brother has a demo-version of an old game called Ports of Call. It's a maritime simulation game. You are the owner of a ship company and you have to buy a ship and earn money to be able to buy a bigger ship etc. The problem with the demo is that it's only playable for 1 hour. After that hour you have to start over. My brother tried to register the game, but the provided registration address isn't in use anymore by the game-developer. So he isn't able to register the game. My question is therefore: has anyone a registration code for the game: "Ports of Call" version 2.

You're answer would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. The game developer is by my best knowledge not a company but a single person who designed the game for fun. He has changed address, but didn't bother to mention his new address somewhere.

I looked though my whole database and haven't found any mention of this game. It's like it never existed. How old is it?

I have posted a message in several games-newsgroups, but I didn't get a reply on it. I found the address of Luc Snoecks somewhere and I have sent him an email. He hasn't responded yet.

I don't no how old the game is. I guess it's pretty old, like five years or something like that.

Hey BJR, I have an original copy of the game Ports of Call, as ported from the Amiga, and released in a boxed set together with Battle of Waterloo and Final Frontier..  Email me directly and I will see what I can do about getting it to you.

Please note however that the game DOES NOT run successfully on the new range of 'fast' processors, and becomes totally unplayable, but, you can find that out for yourself =)

Hi Sedd,

I tried to find your e-mail address, but I couldn't find it. If it isn't to much trouble for you please email me directly at b.j.rodenhuis@student.utwente.nl to arrange something about the game. I am really glad you answer my question. And my brother owns a 486 SX 25 MHz and the demo runs without any problems on it. So if you email me I am sure we can arrange something.
