Strange Crashings makes me MAD!
Win95 Crashes when I try to start any non-windows application after some win-applications have been running. Programs dont cause crash if they are the first appli. to run in session (PS.Win causes crashing;programs are fine)
(Crash = screen turns black, CtrlAltDel reboots straight)
Remark: I did put config.sys and autoexec.bat back in action lately, but they only start himem and emm386

1. This is propably due to low RAM and/or RAM fragmentation.
2. You don't need himem and emm386 in your batch files. If you want to run any real mode drivers (CD-ROM) for DOS you should put them in the DOSSTART.BAT found in your Win95 drawer.
3. Here are my batch files. The extra lines are for changing codepage to greek.
AUTOEXEC.BAT
@ECHO OFF
PATH C:\WIN95;C:\WIN95\COMMAND;C:\DOS;C:\DOS\ARCHIVE;c:\DOS\Batch;c:\Virus\scan;c:\dos\nc
SET TEMP=C:\TEMP
C:\WIN95\mode con codepage prepare=((737) C:\WIN95\COMMAND\ega2.cpi)
C:\WIN95\mode con codepage select=737
keyb gk,,C:\WIN95\COMMAND\keybrd4.sys
cls

CONFIG.SYS
device=C:\WIN95\COMMAND\display.sys con=(ega,,1)
Country=030,737,C:\WIN95\COMMAND\country.sys

OK. I believe!
I havnt got time to see weather 'removing' Himem&Emm actually removed the problem, it might come up again, but I'm happy NOW.
