Down loading DXF files

I have a home page and want to make DXF files available to anyone who wants to down load them in their original DXF format.  How do I do it?  The files can not be transfered to a remote server outside of my home page.  They have to stay within my home page.

The most efficient method would probably to compress them into an archived format (such as zip). At the end of the day its all to do with file extensions, and zip should allow straight downloads.
