Does anyone know what would cause a &quot;Printer not available&quot; error after selecting a print command in the second application to call on it? Any app will print as much as I want if its the first to attempt since startup. The second can't find the printer. This is on a Mac clone 604e/200, 7.6.1,OT/PPP 1.1,ARA 2.1.This all started after updating<br />
ARA,which installed serial arbitrator, since removed,and doesn't go away with all ARA files and extensions disabled.The chooser will also crash into MacsBug on selection or shortly thereafter.I don't know what got<br />
corrupted,Appleshare prefs,OT serial, or what.It happens with Appletalk on or off. It's a Apple Personal LaserWriter(non AT),should I reinstall its driver,the system, OT,or what? Powertools says modem and printer need to both be on at startup, thats true for the modem, but the printer never cared before. Any ideas much appreciated.<br />
