Hi
I am having trouble setting up a Umax S-6E scanner via a Adaptec pcmcia scsi card on a Toshiba Tecra 700CT running NT 4.0. The card seems to configure ok but when I try to run EZ-Scsi 4.01 Quickscan I get an error message "Scanner Link Error,  Aspi manager not installed, error code: 00140eo2h [00000000h]"
Somewhere in the numerous error messages I've had there was one that told me to add a comand line in the config.sys file to  install aspi4dos.sys. Would this be correct and if so how should the command line read?

            Kind Regards

You need NT specific drivers for this to work. I suggest you contact the manufacturer for the correct software for your system. If the software you have talks about putting things in the config.sys file then it is DEFINTELY not NT aware.

yes I thought it strange that it should be talking about config.sys files. The problem I'm having now is getting the manufacturer to come up with the goods. It is like pulling a tooth from an unwilling patient.
