I have a Micron P100 with a Mitsumi 4X cd-rom drive. &nbsp;The<br />
problem with the drive is that quite often, when I open the<br />
tray, the disc is still spinning even after the tray opens.<br />
This causes scratches in the discs and although the scratches are minor, I am afraid they will affect performance. &nbsp;The drive has done this since new, and a replacement drive from Micron that I installed a year ago continues to do the same thing. &nbsp;Is there anything I can do<br />
to try to resolve this issue, outside of replacing the drive<br />
with another model?<br />
