If you are running Windows 3.11, you should increese the amount of free Base memory (640Kb). There is a problem in AutoCAD 13 with Windows 3.11.
If there is not enough base memory, arx files cannot be loaded.
Another reason could be that the render software file isn't available.
Possible sollutions:
- Win 3.11: Increese free base memory to at least 580Kb
- Win95/WinNT: Check your files .. the render software could be missing.

dr00py was right, render.cfg is missing. However, the installation
creates no render.cfg file. What should I do? Can it be created
from within the program?
