MSComm_OnComm does not work

I have created a telephoneprogram and I would like it to be able to detect a ring. When the phone rings a msgbox shold pop up. I have tryed to use the MSComm_OnComm Ring_Event, but nothing happens. What should I do?

Your modem could be the cause:
You should set it up to respond to ring events, check your
modem's manual for the correct AT... command
