I'm sorry for my 'rejection' of your answer Javiertb but I thought that the only option open to me was to give it a 'fail' and then wait for another answer from you. I was not aware of how the comments system worked. Thanks also to Gysbert1 for your reply and tactful suggestion re Javiertb. I still cannot find the suggested file IDelphi.zip nor access anything to do with Delphi1 at www.borland.com but after lots of searching I managed to get to ftp.borland.com/pub/techinfo/techdocs/language/delphi and find TI2861 which covers the topic. Since at the moment neither have currently answered the question it seems I can't give points, so my suggestion is that Javiertb responds to the original question to pick up the 50 points and Gysbert1 responds to this one to get these 50 points.
(Unless there is an easier method of simply transferring points.) Thanks to you both for your assistance.

Yes, Javiertb responded briefly to the original question so now both you and he have 50 Grade 'A' points each.
Once again I did not mean to offend by rejecting the reply, I just didn't quite know the system.
To misquote someone... "Forgive me for I know not what I do."

Cheers,
frog.
