SAVING A picture Box to a Black & white BMP

I need to save a picture box to a B&W bmp file. the savepicture command in vb 4 saves in color. ?

You will need to picturebox to complete the tast. First use a paintpicture method with the flag set to SRCINVERT. THis will copy a duplicate b\w picture to the new picturebox. Then do a saveimage method to save the picture. THe paintpicture method can bbe found in the visual basic help file.

The only problem is that the bmp file saved is still a color bmp in black & white , so the file size is the same size i need it to be a real b&w bmp
