What is the maximum length of a SVGA cable without loosing remarkable quality of the signal?

It depends on various factors, like what videocard you are using, what screen resolution you work in. I Have seen decrease in image quality above 2 meters at a resolution of 1024x768. The higher your refresh and scanrate (=bandwidth) the shorter your cable has to be before you loose quality.
I Would prefer an extension cable with BNC connectors if youre monitor has this connection.
