ppp server for win95
I need the magic formula for setting up my linux box to
answer the modem and automatically (i.e no human intervention) negotiate a ppp session with a PC running
win95. I'm using uugetty and pppd compiled with MS_DNS=1.
I need the gettydefs and pppd options to get this all
working.

What is the significance of the a_ppp in the Auto_PPP line?
Does your set-up require a new user name in the /etc/passwd
file or can users login in from Windows with the same
user name/passwd combo they use to login to the console?

Hy,
Well, the "a_ppp" is just what you'll see if you enter the
"last" or "lastb" command. You can change it with the string
you want. And yes, users can login with the same name/passwd, no need to add a new user name.
