A program I'm working on needs the TPanel painted with a tiled image. I know I can add an TImage to it set to client, but is there a way to paint directly on to the TPanel surface. If so an Example Please on how this is done.

TPanel does not have a canvas property, so the equivelent in Delphi would be to use a TImage instead of TPanel.  Then you can use the canvas property with its many image drawing methods.

Example:
image1.canvas.ellipse(1,1,20,20);
