I've been getting this error message: "SYS1200, code 002."
How can I restore the OS/2 DOS capabilities I seem to have lost?

I seem to remember obtaining a similar error after a failed attempt to install a video driver. The install had placed a few lines in my config.sys but did not finish to the point that these lines could be used.

Sorry it took so long to answer but here's the answer:

This is a simple enough problem, the DOS environment isn't being created.  This is what you do to solve it.use Selective Install
to reinstall your DOS support. To do so, open the OS/2 System object, then open System Setup, and then open Selective Install. When the System Configuration screen appears, select the OK push
button. When the OS/2 Setup and Installation screen appears, select the box next to OS/2 DOS Support. Then select the Install push button. You will be prompted to insert and remove some of
the OS/2 installation diskettes (or CD). Follow the
instructions on the screen. When the installation is completed,
you must shut down and restart your computer for
the DOS support to take effect.
