Need folder security program

I need a program that will lock specific folders and assign passwords to said folders.  Shareware prefered.

I don't know of any that leave your folder in view while they protect them with a password. The ones below hide them as well as make them available only by password, which may serve your purpose. I have used the first one quite successfully. None of them guarantee you protection from experienced hackers though.

If they don't suit you, then feel free to reject my answer and let someone else have a go, but I think you'll find it quite hard to get exactly what your looking for in the public domain.  The ones below are all available from www.shareware.com
