CFtpConnection

I am using CFtpConection to implement FTP client app.
As a client I need to be able to issue some nonstandard
commands on FTP control connection. From the list of the class members I couldn't find the member which would allow me send any arbitrary command. Is there the way to do it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have used Winsock API's for several of my projects. Then I found various limitations with MFC's ftp classes and decided on designing my own. I  have created wrappers to abstract winsock calls. In fact it is a easy process to use raw winsock and should n't take you more than a day to get it going. I know what you are trying to achieve in fact I did something you are trying to do. Send ftp commands to the server and getting reply from there.

Either you can write it on your own or I can search my archives and send you some of the old code. Send me your e-mail address and I will get in touch with you.

Thanks
