ListCtrl in report mode without scrollbars

I am trying to create a list in report mode, but when I
use the style LVS_NOSCROLL the header control disappears.
Does anyone know how to get around this brain damaged
default behavior?

Sorry, you can't do anything with this. The simplest way to check it is using resources editor: add ListCtrl to any dialog, change view to report, check "no scroll" and see that headers will disapear. So I repeat: you can't do anything. Try create list without LVS_NOSCROLL switch.
