Redirect LPT2: to LPT1:

I have a DOS application who print on LPT2: but I have only LPT1:
on my computer.

It is possible to redirect LPT2: to LPT1: ??

Try:

mode lpt2:=lpt1:

If your computer is new you can change in the BIOS the name of the port to LPT2, if it is old you can change one or two jumpers of the controller to achieve the same.

Which program is this? Check again, I can't believe you can not change the port and, worst, that the only option is lpt2.

You cannot use the mode command to redirect one LPT port to another LPT port.  There are many freeware programs that will do this.  I have been through this myself recently.  Are you running the program under DOS only or in a DOS window under WIN 95 or NT?
Unlock the question and I will tell you where to get one of the redirection programs.  If you change the printer port to LPT2:, other programs may not work.  Most DOS programs look for LPT1:.
