I'm developing an application for Win32 using Delphi 2.0 and wish to overlay a component derived from the Windows ComboBox onto a grid. Is it possible to remove the border from the ComboBox? I have attempted to modify the window's style and extended style properties with no success. It seems that the BorderStyle property of ComboBoxes is not available for Win32. Any ideas?

The only way to solve your problem is using owner-draw combo box.
