How to know login id -agian

I used all of two mathod post and get in CGI program,
But REMOTE_USER value has always has blank balue.

Remote user is only set when the person has been through http user authentication.  When the user enters the private web pages the server asks for username and password.  If the user is allowed access then Remote_User is set to the username.
If you want some info on who is sending the form, use
REMOTE_ADDR to get the ip address or
REMOTE_ADDR to get the hostname
That is all that is given about the user to protect privacy.  The above information could track the user down if the authorites got involved.(by looking at the logs on their ISP)
