Is there any way to specify the type of locking in SQL Server, Record Lock or Table Lock.

Delphi by default uses Table Locking which is causing problems as multiple users are using my application.

Assuming Microsoft, as of SQL*Server 6.5, you have no options here.  SQL*Server only supports page level locking.

I only know Sybase as of a year ago and it also supported page level.  However, a co-worker believes Sybase now supports row-level.  I can't confirm that.
