I am using Delphi 3.0 C/S (although I get the same thing when using 2.0). I am using a TOleContainer, and loading a file into it using:
   OleContainer.CreateObjectFromFile(WordFileName);
When I double click on the OleContainer, Word's Toolbar appears. Some of the buttons, however, are not enabled (such as Save, Open, etc). Does anyone know why? How to enable them? If I cant, is there a way to do inplace activation w/o showing Word's toolbar?

You have to use OleContainer.CreateLinkToFile(WordFileName,FALSE) instead to hold the link to the original file.
