I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would have suggested 'packed record' as well at first glance.  I'm not sure I understand where the data is coming from now.  Please E-mail me (or post) your record structure, and how it is getting filled.  It would seem that because you have an accumulating alignment error that you may have to pack the elements of your record structure as well as the structure itself.

Also, you might have a '0' relatiive vs '1' relative index problem.  I can't tell without looking.

Can't grade the expert yet, because the problem wasn't answered. Instead, some of my source code was requested. Now that my source code was sent, I'm sure the expert will have a better idea of the problem. Hopefully, an answer will be returned to me and I'll be able to grade the expert. It would be unfair to both of us to make that decision now. Look forward and so far, really appreciate this site. Thank you!
